Gun control has been a controversial topic in modern day society. We believe that there should be restrictions, but everyone who wants a gun should be able to own one.

Gun Control
Gun control is the controversial topic that debates whether we should have strict restrictions on purchasing guns or if people should all have a right to own a gun. People that support gun control believe that people should not be able to own guns, and if they do, they need strict guidelines in order to be able to keep their guns. Gun control supporters believe that giving strict rules for who can purchase a gun, is going to be the most effective way that school shootings, homicides, and terrorist attacks can be significantly reduced. However, the opposing view believes that anyone who wants to have a gun should be granted that right since this correlates with the second amendment. People who are against gun control do not necessarily believe that shootings will be decreased because either way, criminals are going to do illegal things, like purchasing guns illegally. Our campaign believes that guns should have restrictions, however, if someone wants to purchase a gun, they should be able to. We believe that if someone would choose to purchase a gun, they would have to go through numerous thorough background checks, and they would need to pass other tests if they would like to own a gun. We believe that the second amendment should be granted and everyone should have a right to own a gun if that is what they would like to do. We are firmly against easy access to buy guns because without strict background checks, no one knows who may be possessing the gun. In conclusion, our campaign is against easy access to guns and will make mandatory restrictions to whomever would choose to purchase a gun, however, we believe that every citizen has a right to bear arms.
