COVID19
The COVID19 issue is a global pandemic where a deadly virus rapidly spread across the world, killing thousands. This pandemic was started in a market in Wuhan China from a man who ate an undercooked bat. This is a controversial issue because some people have criticized the virus by saying that the pandemic was caused by a lab creation that went wrong. COVID19 is a controversial issue also because people all believe that there are different and “more effective” solutions to the spread of the virus. For example, the government believes that social distancing, washing hands, and wearing a mask and gloves is the best solution to the virus. However, others believe that social distancing does not need to be taken seriously because no one can escape germs. Some people have been with friends and family and they have been closer than the standard six feet. Other people believe that the virus can be stopped best by maintaining a good immunity by taking vitamins and minerals. Other citizens believe that the only way that the virus can be stopped is by creating an effective vaccine. So the COVID19 pandemic is a controversial issue because everyone has different ideas as to what is best to stop the spread of the virus most efficiently. Our campaign believes that maintaining a six foot distance apart from each other, washing hands, and maintaining a good immunity is the key to having the curve flattened significantly in the shortest amount of time. We believe that the flights from any foreign country should be prohibited until the curve has significantly flattened. In conclusion, our campaign believes that remaining a social distance of six feet, and maintaining a good immunity are the most effective ways to stop the virus from spreading.
